In July, Thailand customer sent an inquiry with old pumps’ photos and hand-drawing sizes. After discussing with our customer about all specific sizes, our technical group offered several professional outline drawings for customer. We broke the common design of impeller and designed new mold to meet customers’ every request. At the same time, we used new connection design to match customer’s base plate to save the cost for customer. Customer visited our factory before production. This visit offered us a better understanding of each other and lay the foundation of further cooperation. Finally, we delivered the goods 10 days before the planed delivery time, saving a lot of time for customers. After installation, customer signed a exclusive agent with us in this power plant project.
Vertical turbine pump is a kind of semi-submersible pump. The electric motor of a vertical turbine pump is located above ground, connected via a long vertical shaft to impellers at the bottom of the pump. Despite the name, this kind of pump has nothing to do with turbines.
Vertical turbines are widely used many types of applications, from moving process water in industrial plants to providing flow for cooling towers at power plants, from pumping raw water for irrigation, to boosting water pressure in municipal pumping systems, and for virtually every other imaginable pumping application.
The flow of our vertical turbine pumps range is from 20m3/h to 50000m3/h. Because the pump can be built with one stage or many stages, the head generated can be customized according to customers’ request. Generally, the head of our vertical turbine pumps is from 3m to 150m. The power range is from 1.5kw to 3400kw. These advantages make it one of the most common types of centrifugal pumps.
